I am fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner
Regulation Agency as a Clinical Psychologist. I have full
membership with the Australian Psychological Society & the
College of Clinical Psychologists.
I have primarily worked in the private mental health sector
since graduating from university. I worked at Perth Clinic
for 6 years where I coordinated & facilitated the Adolescent
& Young Adult Therapy Program as well as the Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy Program for adults with mental health
problems. I subsequently worked for The Marian Centre for 4
years as the Director of Therapy Services. These roles
involved the provision of individual & group therapy as well as
program development, training & supervision of other
professionals. I have worked in private practice for the past
decade. I currently run my own busy practice from the
Hamilton Psychology Practice in Subiaco.

I take a practical approach to therapy. This involves
conducting a thorough assessment, clearly identifying problem areas
& setting goals for treatment that provide a structure &
guide for ongoing contact. In addition I aim to provide
clients with an awareness & understanding of the origins of
their problems in combination with the acquisition of practical
coping tools to create positive, desired & enduring change in
the present & for the future. For me, therapy is akin to
education, where the focus is on learning about yourself.
